Above is the actual tracklist, per the CD; the tracklist printed on the back cover does not include Track Track 11 is audio of a conversation that appears at the end of "Oh My Golly!" on other versions of Surfer Rosa/5(27).     While it's nice to have these two records on one disc, the sequencing of Come on Pilgrim after Surfer Rosa is a little disconcerting, since the two albums each have distinctive sounds that clash slightly. Steve Albini 's production of Surfer Rosa is metallic and spare -- 9/ Reply

  6. Francis' penchant for writing in Spanish appears on the next two tracks, "Oh My Golly!" and "Vamos", a different version of a Come On Pilgrim track. The US version of Surfer Rosa ends with "Brick is Red", a song which ends the album, leaving you begging for more. At 33 minutes, Surfer Rosa needs no filler, and there is none. Great song follows.   8. Oct 27,  · No issues with my copy. No snap, crackle or pop after a vacuum through the VPI, prior to the initial play. The sound quality is not bad either. Surfer Rosa is a quieter cut than Come On Pilgrim, unsurprisingly. Hope this helps/5(). Reply
